About Justine...

Hello, I’m Justine

Hello, I’m Justine

We are the product of our life experiences, social influences, events, and the people we know and have met. I know my life has driven my strong social values and belief in supportive empowerment.

Our early years often inspire behind our career decisions; I know it did for me.

My mother was a foster carer when I was growing up and I saw her, our ‘different’ family and care professionals working and supporting each other through one experience to the next. Structured guidance, compassion and accountability were vital in dealing with challenges that cropped up in the lives of the children we collectively supported.

More about me...

Our values for life run parallel through our career too.

This shows up for me in many ways. Coaching is a natural role for me as I have always been curious and I like helping people.

Also, in supporting organisations create effective teams. People managers have the power to influence people’s lives, sharing skills and giving them confidence is good for them and their teams, and also good for business.

Big influences on me and my way of thinking come from working with an eclectic mixture of charities, environmental groups, small, micro, and international organisations. All with a range of budgets and business cultures.

My passion for ecology and the environment is linked to the truth that where and how we live, what we eat, our health, and our access to nature, green spaces, and clean air hugely influence our life chances.

My mixed background and experiences have taught me to see both sides of an argument and be pragmatic.

For many people, our work environment is especially important. Not only skilled of our managers and leaders, but also that our employers and workplaces are inclusive and accessible in many ways.

Diverse teams are well known to achieve better and more sustainable results, by getting alternative points of view creates the best from a situation.

As a cis, white, female - I have experienced some prejudice, but know I have not experienced anything like the prejudice others do. I will always support marginalised people.

"Justine is warm, and easy to talk to- creating a professional yet comfortable safe space that allows you to explore your thoughts and emotions without judgment. I have had the lovely opportunity to work with her as both a peer, and as a coachee. She is excellent at helping to break down ideas, goals, and emotions, providing clarity and direction.

Through our sessions, I’ve gained more clarity on my path and feel a stronger sense of self-assurance and confidence. Each session leaves me with practical insights and a renewed sense of purpose. Recommended to anyone looking for a coach who combines professionalism with genuine care and expertise."

1:1 Coaching Client

I have had a number of sessions with Justine over the last year. She helped me identify my priorities when returning to work after a break. She encouraged me back to these values which helped me focus my applications. We’ve also had some sessions on interview skills and practice interviews, which were particularly useful for video interviews that were quite a new and daunting experience for me.

Her genuine interest in my answers and her knowledgeable guidance of what the interviewer could be looking for has given me confidence when faced with similar interview situations in real life and to not panic when under pressure.

I whole heartedly recommend working with Justine, she has the right amount of professionalism mixed with genuine kindness and thoughtfulness to put you at ease but to also get the results you want.

Career Coaching Client

Justine is honestly one of the most humble, ethical, and genuine coaches I’ve met. I recently joined her Best Boss session, it was so engaging and insightful. She has such a down to earth way of connecting with people, which makes learning from her feel really natural. Highly recommend her sessions.

Working with Justine has been a really positive experience. She is friendly, professional, and very supportive, creating a space where it’s easy to learn and reflect.

Her coaching style combines practical leadership knowledge with genuine encouragement, which makes the training both useful and confidence-building. In the group coaching setting, we were able to bounce ideas off each other, which added extra perspective and made the sessions even more valuable. Together we identified areas we wanted to improve, set clear goals, and were coached on how to achieve them.

What I valued most was that the process encouraged us to come up with our own solutions, rather than being told what to do.

Business Owner and Group Coaching Client

We recently brought Justine in to provide coaching for a team member, and I’ve been genuinely impressed by her thoughtful, approachable, and supportive style.

From the outset, Justine took the time to meet with both of us, helping set expectations and making the process feel clear and comfortable. She went above and beyond to understand the individual, our organisation (Emmaus), and the unique challenges of working in the homelessness sector — which can be complex and emotionally demanding.

The feedback from the team member has been incredibly positive, and it’s been so rewarding to see the personal and professional growth that’s come from the coaching.

Working with Justine has been a pleasure — the impact has been clear, and I wouldn’t hesitate to work with her again or recommend her to others. Thank you, Justine!
